For me, fashion is a way to express my interests and identity. What I wear in public is, in my opinion, a synthesis of my various styles and tastes. I do not believe that fashion is strictly limited to the clothes you wear. My accessories, as well as how you present yourself, such as your hair and nails, encompass what it means to be fashionable. Personally, I typically wear monochrome colors because I believe that they fit my body type and facial structure better. I also paint my nails black and keep my hair typically combed over to one side. I also wear various jewelry items such as rings and necklaces. For me, my fashion sense is also another form of expression of how I am feeling in my life. When I was less confident in myself, I would not care about what I would wear, and I would put on the first thing that I saw for the day. Now that I am more comfortable with myself and my identity, I am more confident with my fashion sense and I dress more to impress myself rather than the people around me, and I am overall a happier person for it.
